Solicitors
It’s a frequent complaint in the home buying and selling process that once a sale is agreed, the legal process can be long and drawn out, with poor service commonplace amongst many conveyancing firms.
This is why we have partnered with a small number of excellent local solicitors, some of whom have worked closely with us for many years, who all offer a professional, friendly and timely service, with very competitive rates.
This, combined, with our dedicated proactive sales progressor, means you never have to act as the middleman. We proactively chase progress every week with the other parties in the chain, to reduce the risk of fall-throughs, giving you the confidence to move forward.

Surveyors
We work with a number of independent RICS surveyors who have lived and practised in our area for many years, and who will undertake comprehensive surveys on all types of properties, but who also have an understanding of period and individual homes.
There are different types of property surveys available when buying a house, depending on the age, condition, and value of the property. For example, a building survey helps identify any structural problems, defects, or maintenance issues before the purchase is completed. It can reveal hidden concerns such as damp, subsidence, roof damage, or faulty wiring, allowing you to make informed decisions and avoid unexpected repair costs.
And of course it can also provide reassurance that the property you are buying is in good condition!

There are two removal firms that we recommend. Each offer an excellent personal service with local, national and international removals and storage plus a full packing service and storage.

We recommend several cleaning contractors locally who offer their services to both domestic and commercial clients, including schools, nurseries, offices, pubs, clubs and restaurants, as well as domestic spring cleans and rented property cleaning.
We only recommend contractors who we know and have worked with for many years, so if you’re new to the area and are looking for cleaning support at home, call our team and we’ll put you in touch directly.
Plumbing, Gas and Boiler Services
We work with several local firms who provide prompt and efficient services, and regularly carry out maintenance jobs for all of our managed rental properties, as well as being ‘on-hand’ in emergencies.
We recommend them to our partnered lettings firm Northwood Lettings and of course to our buyers and sellers, who either may be new to the area or they’re longstanding customers who may need some help with jobs at home.
