Lisa Baines
  Managing Director

Lisa works alongside co-owner Neil to lead our close-knit team across all branches. With over 30 years of experience since starting her estate agency career in 1991, she brings exceptional expertise and a deep passion for the industry. Lisa says: “I simply love our industry and never take for granted that I get to live and work in one of the most attractive and desirable regions in the UK. I also get to work alongside a knowledgeable team that naturally strive to exceed client expectations and nurture long-term relationships. This is why so many clients return to us time after time, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their ongoing support.” Outside of work, Lisa is an active supporter of local fundraising, sponsorship, and community projects championed by Debbie Fortune Estate Agents. At home, she enjoys cooking for her large family and walking her cocker spaniel, Bonnie, along the beach near her home in Uphill.

Neil Drejer
  Director

Neil joined the business in 2016 from Savills in Bath, where he was Associate Director. In June 2021, he partnered with Managing Director Lisa Baines to purchase the business from founder Debbie Fortune upon her well-earned retirement. With more than 20 years’ experience in the local and regional property market, Neil’s expertise spans everything from city studio apartments to high-value country homes. Outside the office, Neil enjoys a busy family life with his wife and two children and is a dedicated supporter of the Bristol Bears rugby club.

Jo Woolley  
Operations Director

Jo joined Debbie Fortune Estate Agents in the first few months of opening, in 2009, and became a director during the intervening eight years before relocating to Newbury in 2018 to work for a larger group of estate agents covering the West Berkshire, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire areas. She was delighted to rejoin the Debbie Fortune team as Operations Director in July 2025, working alongside Lisa and Neil once more, and is focussing on modernising internal workflows and training programmes, and improving software systems to enhance client communications. In her spare time, she enjoys live music, dining out and is a keen gardener.
