We are delighted to announce the appointment of Marie Greenwood to the position of Branch Manager at our prestigious Chew Magna office. Marie brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge of the local and national housing market, having worked in both the independent and corporate sector during her career.
Born and raised in North Somerset she has a passionate and infectious personality, with a desire to provide excellent customer service and help in any way she can.
Marie takes over from our colleague Scott Higgins, as he continues an important role within the company, whilst working towards a qualification as a RICS chartered surveyor through the SAVA platform.

Marie, Branch Manager of our Chew Magna office says ‘Joining the team at Debbie Fortune Estate Agents is just a perfect fit for me, having spent my early years in estate agency working in Southwest London for a premium independent company, I was then approached by international real estate agents Savills and took up a role as an Associate Director selling prime properties in and around Clapham & Balham. During my visits back to Somerset to spend time with my family who live locally, I frequently passed Debbie Fortune For Sale and Sold boards and was impressed by the lovely brand and excellent presence that the company has. As much as I adored my time in the capital, I had always longed to return home to the West Country when the time was right, and saw Debbie Fortune as the kind of company that I would enjoy working for.
On meeting Lisa and Neil, it was immediately clear that their passion, ambition and core values were very much in line with my own, and when they offered me the opportunity to take up the reins at their prestigious Chew Magna office it was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. The amazing diversity of properties that are available in the Chew Valley, is simply astonishing and means that each individual client’s needs can be catered for. I already love just how passionate our buyers and sellers are about the valley, which makes finding their dream properties and selling their cherished family homes even more satisfying.
When I’m not working, I love dining out and taking trips away to explore different places and cultures. When closer to home I love to fit in a good walk and a potter in the garden! Some little-known facts about me are that in my early working career I featured as a presenter for a TV shopping channel and even worked as a luxury retail host for Princess Cruise Lines travelling to many far flung and exotic locations.’
