A huge thank you to everyone who donated to our JustGiving page or came into our office to buy raffle tickets last week, and to the many local businesses who kindly gave gifts for our hampers to raffle off – PLUS as our Community Cafe also raised £500 to add to our donations during November, we almost trebled our fundraising target to achieve a fantastic amount of £1,350!
Our team trudged up to Crook Peak on Friday in support of Children in Need, for our usual ramble but this year, for the first time, it rained … a lot!!
Everyone came back absolutely drenched, despite their rainproof clothing, but it was well worth it knowing how much we had raised.
We were able to make up three fantastic hampers in the end, due to the amount of lovely gifts donated by our many local businesses – watch this space for details of the winners!
