On the 27th March Maisie, one of our sales adminstrators faced her fear of heights and abseiled down the Avon Gorge to raise money for the amazing Bristol and Weston Hospitals Charity. In just two weeks she managed to raise £312 which will help and support our local hospitals.
Maisie says: ‘The day started with a group training session to learn the basics along the Sea Walls. We were then taken up the top of the gorge where we were to make our descent. The abseil down was slightly nerve racking at first with a little slip here and there but by the end I wanted to go again! The whole event was so much fun and all team and volunteers were amazing. Next up will be the sky dive!’
