It was so good to be involved again, amongst our fellow local businesses, and show case everything that is so wonderful about our community This was the eighth consecutive year that we have been the main sponsor of the event and as always it was wonderful to see so many familiar local faces, both young and old taking part. It is a real highlight of our sponsorship calendar for us a Debbie Fortune, and an event that is so much fun for us all to be involved with. The sun was shining and the weather couldn’t have been kinder, it was a very competitive event but also enjoyed by many fun runners taking advantage of the beautiful scenery and excellent organisation by the event committee.
A big thank you to all of you who took part in both the actual event and virtual event this year, you have all done your bit to raise much needed money for this years chosen charities, Bishop Sutton Primary School Society, Chew Valley School Society, NICU Support, which supports Bristol and Bath’s Neo-Natal units and The Lymphoma Research Trust, in memory of much-loved Bishop Sutton resident and family man, Mr Mark Wookey. You should all be super proud of yourselves and we hope you are not feeling too sore this week.
Here’s to an even bigger event in 2022
